In order to simplify the financial aid process, Graceland awards a single primary institutional scholarship that considers your financial need, academic accomplishments, athletic success, and your involvement in extra-curricular activities such as art, music, theatre, communications, social change, and sustainability. Your Graceland scholarship will be tailored to your strengths and interests.
In addition to The Graceland Award, you may also be able to compete for a limited number of additional scholarships. In most cases, your total financial aid package will not exceed the cost of tuition.
The following competitive scholarships are based on a combination of GPA, essay, references, high school activities, and community service. You may apply for as many competitive scholarships as you feel you may qualify.
Full tuition award and is renewable for up to four years.
Candidates meeting the evaluation criteria will be invited to campus for an interview on Academic Honors Day.
If you wish to be considered for the Prestigious Honors Scholarship, you must apply to the Honors Program at least one week prior to the Prestigious Honors Day in which you will compete for the award.
NOTE: Recipients of this award will not receive any other Graceland scholarship.

Eligibility:
Be able to participate for at least 4 semesters in the Honors Program, have a minimum high school or college cumulative GPA of 3.50, demonstrate outstanding writing skills, and score a 25 or higher on the ACT (1200 or higher on the SAT). In lieu of test scores, the applicant may also answer one of two 250 word Alternative to Testing questions on the honors application. (Not available for Prestigious Honors Scholarship recipients).
