What an adventure!
Twenty-three Graceland alumni and friends spent 13 days in China in May 2018, and what a trip it was.
The group made stops in Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Yangshou and Shanghai and included visits to The Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors, Yuyuan Gardens, the Bund, a ride on a bullet train and a leisurely cruise down the Li River.
Gracelanders on the trip hailed from Texas, Iowa, California, Florida, Israel and North Carolina. China is blessed with wonderful people always anxious to have a picture taken with folks from the United States.
Paul J. Davis ’77 shared, “Everybody got along from day one, and plenty of tears were shed when it was time to say goodbye. We absolutely loved this great country and her loving people.”
