Graceland University Professor of Philosophy Bob Mesle, working with Arran Gare, Professor of Philosophy and Cultural Inquiry at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, taught eight 90-minute sessions of Intro to Whitehead’s Philosophy at the tenth International Whitehead Conference in Claremont, California, in June. The conference, “Seizing an Alternative: Toward an Ecological Civilization,” was one of the world’s most interdisciplinary conferences on sustainability.
