The following is a message I sent to students earlier this week. I hope your holidays are merry and bright.
Dear students,
As the holiday season approaches, I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very happy holiday season. This has been a fun fall semester, and I have enjoyed every moment that I have been able to experience with all of you – from impressive athletic achievements to the entertaining return of Air Band in the Morden Center. I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing this time with you. This past weekend, I celebrated many of your fellow graduates as they walked across the commencement stage in our fall commencement ceremonies. I look forward to a similar celebration with all of you in the future.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a vibrant and engaged community of learners. This semester was particularly exciting to me as I saw the successful launch of our transformational leadership major for our incoming freshmen. Inside and outside the classroom, I have seen firsthand your incredible achievements and accomplishments, and I have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great things.
I hope that you are able to spend this holiday season with loved ones, and that you are able to find some rest and relaxation during this special time of year.
Wishing you all the best,
President Draves
