Over all this has been such an amazing experience for me. Going to Belize to do yoga is not bad for my first time out of the country(: I never thought that I would be relaxing on the beach in Belize focusing on my inner yogi. I really loved that our teacher linda required that we journal everyday about what we did. It will be great to be able to look back on my trip and have it all documented. My favorite part of the trip was being able to see the Mayan ruins. Our trip to Xunantunich and the fact that we were able to climb all the way to the top was unbelievable. There is something so peaceful about being in amazing nature. Our world truly is beautiful. Being a person that does yoga regularly, it was such a perk doing it with a full class of people that brought so many energies to our practices. As our trip comes to an end, I have to remember that it is not summer and we will be heading back to chilly Lamoni (: I am forever grateful of this wonderful opportunity I have been given and will cherish my memories and new friends I’ve made here as we prepare for our spring semester back at GU.
