Graceland University Assistant Professor of English Dr. Cat Clifford and collaborators Dr. Liza Blake (University of Toronto, Mississauga) and Aley O’Mara (Syracuse University) organized and facilitated a summer reading group for scholars working in the emerging field of early modern asexualities. The reading group (which averaged 18 participants each meeting) met bi-weekly over Zoom to discuss selected publications central to the field. Clifford, Blake, and O’Mara are in the process of putting together a scholarly book collection centering early modern asexualities.
