Dr. James Geiselman, Assistant Professor of Allied Health, had his recent paper “Reevaluation of Diagnostic Criteria for Exertional Rhabdomyolysis in Collegiate Wrestlers: A Case Series and Review” published in the International Journal of Sports and Exercise Medicine.
Co-authored with Dr. Darin Thomas, DO, MS, the paper examined the need for updated diagnostic criteria for emergency medicine and sports medicine providers when differentiating between rhabdomyolysis and exertional rhabdomyolysis in an athletic population.
