Graceland University is excited to announce the addition of a drum line to the University music programs in Fall 2013. The drum line will offer a unique flavor to warm the hearts and win the souls of students, faculty and the greater University community.
“The sound of click-clacks on a drum is all it takes to make students and fans pay attention to the field. Drum line’s slick choreography, skills, style and charisma will bring many interested students and their peers to our campus in Lamoni,” affirmed Kirk Bjorland, Vice President for Enrollment Management at Graceland.
The University is confident the drum line shows will please any crowd, and its quality will enhance the music department program offerings.
“An important goal we have is to perfect a performance, achieve a high level of excellence and quality, and give the students a strong sense of accomplishment, “stated Frank Perez, Director of Bands at GU.
Drum line is an art that perfectly combines the love of music with the rhythmic sound of fans’ entertainment. For incoming freshmen to Graceland, it means immediately having a big group of friends who share a common passion. Students from different schools and different skills are expected to become part of the University drum line. Scholarships are available.
If you want to share the drum line experience, entertain fans or represent the University throughout the community, become part of the Graceland drum line!
