Graceland University Professor of Art Julia Franklin, MFA, was featured in the November/December 2018 edition of The Iowan Magazine in a cover story on the state of art in Iowa.
Additionally, Franklin presented an artist talk, sponsored by the Winterset Art Center, at the Iowa Theater in Winterset, Iowa, Nov. 3. She also recently attended an invitation-only workshop on “Conversation Consciousness,” which focused on museum-quality presentation of works on paper. The workshop was co-sponsored by the Des Moines Art Center and the Olson-Larsen Galleries.
