Dr. James Geiselman, Assistant Professor of Allied Health, and Drew Sams, MSNHP Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant, represented Graceland University at the 2021 ACA Council on Nutrition’s Annual Symposium in October. Held in Port St. Lucie, FL, Geiselman and Sams networked with nutritional professionals from across the country and promoted Graceland University’s newest graduate program, the Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance.
Dr. Geiselman serves on the executive board as the Director of Membership for the American Chiropractic Association Council on Nutrition, one of the largest academic specialty councils of the ACA. Along with the help of Vianka Maisonet, Admissions Coordinator for the MSNHP program, Geiselman and Sams spread the word about Graceland University’s newest online graduate program.
The Graceland MSNHP is an online program and allows working professionals the opportunity to earn their MS degree on their own time. “Many of our students will already be working within the healthcare field [as personal trainers, athletic trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, physicians, etc.]. This was a great opportunity to share the [MSNHP] program with other healthcare professionals,” said Geiselman.
