Dr. Brandt directs the Symphonic Band, the Jazz Ensemble, and other Chamber Ensembles including the Saxophone Quartet. He teaches Applied Woodwinds, Music Theory, and various Music Education courses including Secondary Music Methods and Conducting. Brandt is interested in music because every civilization since the beginning of time has had some form of music, it transcends borders, generations, and ideology. He believes that music speaks to the soul and draws people together.
