Dr. Draves teaches in the areas of chemistry and data science. These subjects are exciting to teach as they allow students to explore the world using cool tools, models, and instrumentation.
Physical chemists work to gain insight into the fundamental nature of matter. Data scientists extract information from data and tell the stories that are intrinsic to data. These two fields share a natural connection and together provide a powerful means for understanding the world.
