While a student at Graceland, Katrecia Lowe enjoyed her time working for President Bill Higdon as administrative office support and alongside Dr. Gary Hasman to upstart the first Iowa Communications Internet Helpdesk for K-12 schools. Upon graduation, Lowe returned home to teach STEM at her hometown middle school and coached middle school girls’ basketball. She then went on to New York city where she spent many years in senior management developing, designing, and implementing databases for the largest architectural engineering firms in the world, Parsons Brinckerhoff. Lowe achieved her Master of Divinity in 2013.
She and her family decided to relocate to Lamoni, IA. She is currently working towards her Master of Information Technology as she continues to help international students and families become the next generation of Gracelander’s. She enjoys helping the international community of students and families as much as possible with the hopes of seeing those students earn their degrees and becoming part of the ever-growing network of global Graceland alumni.
In her personal time, Lowe enjoys reading, cooking, watching anime, spending time with family and being an active member of the Community of Christ with her children.
