Campus Life
Through its partnership with Sodexo, Graceland offers students and visitors two distinct dining options – a residential dining hall and an on-the-go diner for more casual fare.
The Floyd M. McDowell Commons gives Graceland students a traditional dining hall experience with a wide variety of options for each meal. Complete with a salad bar, hot grill entrées, and many other fresh food choices designed to satisfy everyone's appetite.
More Details About The CommonsThe Swarm in the Newcom Student Union is a popular dining option for many of our students. With a grill serving burgers and a Sub Hub, students can grab any meal here using their meal exchange or GBUCK$.

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for you.
Please note: meal plan changes can only be made and will only be accepted during the first week of regularly scheduled classes during fall and spring semesters.
Dining Dollars is our on campus dining program that allows you to use your student ID card in place of cash at either the Commons or Swarm Inn for food purchases. There is a 20% Enrichment or bonus for purchases of $40.00 or more. Dining Dollars also make the perfect addition to any of our Meal Plans and work great for commuter and off campus students who want the flexibility to dine on campus between classes or when hanging out with friends. GBUCKS, is our on and off campus dining program where you are in complete control. It allows you to eat on or off campus using your Student ID Card. Using your GBUCKS on campus will save you 10% off every purchase allowing your dining dollar to stretch a little further. There are no limits to the amount of GBUCKS that can be purchased! NOTE: Every full time student who pays the activity fee will receive a $50.00* payment per semester (2 payments per academic year) at the start of classes.
21 Meals per Week Plan
The plan includes 21 meals of your choice Sunday thru Saturday and $100.00 Flex Points! Additionally the plan includes 10 Guest Meals per semester.
14 Meals per Week Plan
This plan includes fourteen meals of your choice Sunday thru Saturday and $125.00 Flex Points! This plan requires budgeting of meals throughout the week
10 Meals per Week Plan
This plan includes ten meals of your choice Sunday thru Saturday and $200.00 Flex Points! This plan requires budgeting of meals throughout the week.
5 Meals per Week Plan
This plan includes five meals of your choice Sunday thru Saturday and $75.00 Flex Points! This plan requires budgeting of meals throughout the week. This plan is recommended for off-campus students.
